1. How to Delete Your Account?

We respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. In full compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies, we provide clear ways to delete your account and associated data.

1.1 Option 1: Delete in App (Recommended)

  • Open the VIB AI app.
  • Go to Me → Delete Account.
  • Confirm your decision — your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

1.2 Option 2: Request via Email

  • Send an email to support@vibai.com from the email linked to your account.
  • Subject line: "Delete My Account".
  • Our team will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once completed.

2. What Data of Your Account Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your VIB AI account, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly removed:

2.1 Account Information

  • User account and login credentials
  • Profile information (name, photo, bio, settings)

2.2 App Content and Activity

  • All chat messages and conversation history
  • Study progress, completed tasks, or activity logs
  • Any stored preferences or app settings

2.3 AI Interaction Data

  • Messages sent to AI Agents (Study Coach, Review Master, Concept Decoder)
  • Learning-related content or study prompts submitted to AI features
  • AI conversation context stored to maintain continuity
  • Interaction logs and AI usage data collected for improving service quality

2.4 Miscellaneous

  • Any other personal data associated with your account

2.5 Important

  • Deleted data is not retained or archived and cannot be restored.
  • Stopping AI feature usage does not delete your account automatically; account deletion is required to remove AI interaction data.

3. AI Features and Data Processing

3.1 Disclosure and Consent

VIB AI provides AI-powered features (Study Coach, Review Master, Concept Decoder) using OpenAI. Your messages and related content may be transmitted to OpenAI for AI response generation.

3.2 Data that may be transmitted

  • Messages you type
  • Learning content or study prompts
  • Relevant conversation context

3.3 Data we do NOT intentionally transmit

  • Name, email, user ID, device identifiers (unless you include them in messages)

3.4 Purpose of data sharing

  • Generate AI-assisted responses
  • Maintain conversation context
  • Monitor usage volume and prevent misuse

3.5 Usage data collected

  • Interaction logs and feature usage data
  • Credit consumption monitoring
  • Quality and performance improvements

3.6 Privacy & Security

  • OpenAI processes data solely to generate AI responses.
  • OpenAI applies privacy and security safeguards equal to or greater than ours.
  • Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or tracking.

3.7 User Control

  • You must provide consent before using AI features.
  • You can stop using AI features at any time to prevent further AI-related data processing.
