1. How to Delete Your Account
We respect your privacy and provide ways for you to request deletion of your account and most associated personal data.
1.1 Delete in the App
- Open the VIB AI app.
- Go to Me or Account Settings and choose Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps shown in the App.
1.2 Request Deletion by Email
- Send an email to support@vibai.com from the email address associated with your account.
- Use a subject such as "Delete My Account".
- We provide this email channel as an additional account-deletion method outside the App and will process eligible requests within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law.
2. What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify most account information and user content from active systems, subject to limited backup and technical retention cycles.
2.1 Data Generally Deleted
- Account profile information and authentication-related account data.
- Chat messages and conversation history stored in active systems.
- Saved preferences and in-app settings associated with your account.
- Most user-generated content associated only with the deleted account.
2.2 Data That May Be Retained
Some information may need to be retained after account deletion where required or permitted by law, including:
- Subscription and transaction metadata.
- Tax, accounting, audit, and financial records.
- Fraud prevention, security, abuse investigation, and dispute-resolution records.
- Legal compliance records and information needed to enforce our terms or respond to lawful requests.
2.3 Important Subscription Note
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
If you purchased a subscription, you must cancel it through the platform where the purchase was made.
2.4 Account Deletion Availability
If you created an account for the App, you can request deletion either directly inside the App through Delete Account or outside the App by emailing support@vibai.com.
3. AI Features and Data Processing
VIB AI provides AI-powered chat and AI agent features using one or more third-party AI model providers or AI infrastructure providers made available in the App.
3.1 Data That May Be Processed by AI Providers
- Prompts, questions, instructions, and chat content you submit.
- Relevant conversation context needed to generate a response.
- Temporary screen content, screenshots, or descriptive text that you explicitly provide or authorize for a request.
3.2 Data We Do Not Receive as Payment Data
- We do not receive or store your full payment card number or card security code.
- Subscription billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable.
3.3 Why This Data Is Processed
- To generate AI responses and provide requested App functionality.
- To maintain chat continuity and support product features.
- To monitor usage, prevent abuse, investigate fraud, and protect service security.
- To troubleshoot issues and improve service performance.
4. Subscription and Purchase Data
If you purchase or restore a subscription, we may receive limited metadata from Apple or Google, such as subscription status, product type, order or transaction identifiers, purchase or renewal dates, expiration dates, amount, currency, and platform source.
We use this information only to verify entitlements, restore eligible purchases, provide subscription benefits, address billing-related support issues, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, and regulatory obligations.
5. Restore Purchase
If the App provides a Restore Purchase feature, you may use it to restore an eligible active subscription recognized by the same Apple or Google account used for the original purchase.
Restore Purchase does not create a new subscription, extend an expired subscription, or recover refunded, revoked, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible purchases.
6. Privacy and Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data we process.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not store full payment card details.
We share data only as necessary with service providers, AI providers, Apple, Google, or other parties where needed to provide the service, process subscriptions, protect users, or comply with law.
